日本人が聞き取りづらいポイント
- “I was starting to enjoy my new situation.”：「starting to enjoy」がつながって「スタートゥエンジョイ」のように聞こえ、単語の区切りが分かりにくい。
- “They think we are bad birds.”：「think we are」の部分が速く読まれると「シンクウィアー」のように聞こえるため、”think” の後に “we” が続くと気づきにくい。
- “mistaken”：アクセントが2番目の音節（mis-TAK-en）にあり、「ミステイクン」と発音する。「間違っている」という形容詞として使われているが、動詞 “mistake” と混同しやすい。
